Freshwater Gobies of the Genus Rhinogobius from the Mekong Basin
in Thailand and Laos, with Descriptions of Three New Species

Gill, 1859 occur in the Mekong basin in Thailand and Laos: R. mekongianus (Pellegrin and Fang,
1940), and 3 new species, R.
albimaculatus, R. lineatus,
and R. taenigena. The 4
species can be distinguished by their color patterns and different
meristic characters.
